Starting a work
Bring an existing work or develop something new for brick. You and the studio explore the direction together.
Your creative control
You approve the design and retain copyright to your original. Nothing is published or offered for sale without your approval.
What changes in brick
The grid, the available colours, texture and depth shape the interpretation. The proposal shows these choices clearly. Your approval of the design before listing covers every copy of an edition; each copy is its own build from the approved design.
Upfront fees
There is no upfront fee for an artist collaboration. If the work never sells, you owe nothing.
Setting the price
The studio shows you the minimum selling price for your work and its proposed price before you agree to list. You set the list price at or above that minimum; the studio lists nothing below it. Parts, build, frame, packing, standard delivery and payment processing sit inside the studio's share. Crated or international delivery is quoted to the buyer at checkout.
When you are paid
Your share is paid through Stripe within seven days after the buyer's inspection window closes. Stripe collects your payout details when the agreement is countersigned.
One work or an edition
A work is one of one or a numbered edition of 3, 5 or 10. You choose the size before the first sale. It is stated on the listing and never changes after the first sale. Every copy is its own build from the approved design and carries its number.
Making and delivering the work
Clickbrick builds, frames and delivers the physical work. You do not assemble or ship anything.
Delivery, damage and refunds
Failed builds, loss or damage in transit, and refunds inside the buyer's inspection window are the studio's. A chargeback that succeeds within 120 days of your payout reverses your share on that order, capped at the amount paid. Damage or loss in transit never reverses your share.
Permission to make and sell
Each piece has a signed licence, countersigned by the studio: to make and sell the agreed edition, worldwide, for the life of the edition, and to show photographs and renders of the finished piece with your name, including after the edition sells out. Copyright in your original stays with you. Where this guide and the signed piece agreement differ, the agreement governs.
Your files and unreleased work
Submitted files are used to make the piece and to improve the studio's process. They are never sold. Unreleased work is not shown publicly before its release. Files are kept while the collaboration stands and deleted on your written request once no build is in production.
Revisions and stopping
Two rounds of revision on the proposal are included; further rounds are agreed between us. You can withdraw future builds by email at any time. Copies already sold or in production are completed, and the studio keeps the right to show sold pieces.
What happens next
Start with a portfolio link or an idea. No files are needed up front. You hear back within five working days. We discuss a direction, review the proposed build and its economics, then you approve the design and the agreement before listing.
