A moment, kept

The journal.

Tyler Prahm's own account, as it happens - one entry per thing that happened, each pointing at the thing.

Everyone I know has the itch. You want more of it, you always did, and then you're thirty and there's nowhere to put it - a set on a shelf feels like a confession. So I built the other thing: the brick you already love, made into something you can hang and mean it, from a moment of your own. The first one was the first photograph I took in Istanbul, in the weeks I stopped moving and chose a city. A photograph remembers; this keeps.
